The Nike Kyrie 3 returns with this near all-white colorway featuring a slight contrast of Pure Platinum on the midsole, light blue speckling, and a vibrant array of blue shades on that notable outsole traction pattern. The Nike Kyrie 3 is set to drop next week in a pristine new look with color-shifting iridescent Swooshes against a Pure Platinum mesh upper. Also contributing to the clean appearance is the icy clear outsole, which gets pops of color on the traction pods in marbled neon orange, red, Volt, and white. No doubt one of the most impressive colorways for the Kyrie 3 yet, the “Iridescent Swoosh” version drops on March 16th at select Nike Basketball retailers worldwide.

Moreover, this bold Curry 3 colorway has a rumored release date.Done up with a slick metallic copper aesthetic, the Curry 3 ‘All-Star’ even features some metallic threads in the Threadborne upper for a unique look. The medial Anafoam portions of the shoe are blessed with copper and it’s pretty freaking cool in my opinion — especially because it’s reflective.The tongues have dropped the ‘Under Armour’ branding and simply kept the logo. Meanwhile, the midsoles flaunt a copper-to-black fade and the outsoles receive metallic speckling. With the Shining (Pre-Heat) rendition releasing today, a special edition Nike PG 1 PE dubbed, “Hickory” is now revealed.Intended to match the Indiana Pacers’ Hickory uniforms inspired by the film, Hoosiers, the basketball sneaker is covered in a vibrant deep red and gold theme across the midsection and heel. Nylon comprises the upper with pristine white prominent on the toe and outsole, while a matching inner liner in the vivid tones rounds out the design.Although it’s not suggested to be offered to the public, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates on future availability.
After an official unveil of Nike’s impressive new Black History Month collection for 2017 yesterday, to day we get an in-depth look at one of the highlights of the pack, the Kyrie 3. Kyrie Irving’s third signature model coincides with the rest of the collection, featuring a black, white and gold color palette with marbled black and white detailing. For the Kyrie 3, that marbling comes in the form of the outsole, with an intricate blend of black and white rubber. Up top, the BHM Kyrie 3 also gets a special texture across the molded mesh-foam upper in solid black.

Rounded tooling is still present underfoot while Zoom Air is the only source of cushion — and it’s located in the heel. If you didn’t like the standard heel Zoom and Lunarlon midsole, you could switch it out with a full-length Zoom or a full-length Lunarlon se tup. This year, Nike provided an encapsulated Lunarlon and heel Zoom se tup that is just not comfortable. The heel Zoom unit is basically nonexistent, even if you do strike or land with your heel, and the overall firmness of the encapsulated Lunar is almost unbearable during a painful break-in period. Even after the lengthy break-in period, the cushion se tup is too stiff and doesn’t provide enough court feel to compensate for its overall firmness. On the medial side, the midsole uses a Phylon foam and this may or may not be the cause for some stabbing in the medial forefoot, which even occurs after you break in the cushion. To sum things up; no impact protection, mediocre court feel, and a long break-in period. Yes, it’s as bad as it sounds.
