If you’d prefer not to pay, then you can head to the beach accesses (the beach that’s only accessible behind homes down the strip) and try your luck with on-street parking. But there won’t be any amenities, so you’ll need to bring your own chairs, food, drinks, etc.
At Bartlett St. crossing, there is a parking area located 1.8 miles west of Lion’s Park. The trail is a well-maintained, hard-packed stone dust trail that can be walked or biked. In the early Spring, you will see native wildflowers as you pass through beautiful woodlands.
