The Curry 2.5 just don’t stop. Now, Under Armour seems to be revisiting a colorway already splashed across the Curry 2.5 ‘Elemental’ — that of black and red.This latest Black/Red Curry 2.5 does the “Bred” (I hate that) colorway a bit differently; it sits atop a translucent dark red outsole and doesn’t utilize a red-to-black fade on the PU shell. Instead, it opts for the all-red burrito tongue construction. However, this latest Curry 2.5 retains the red-speckled black midsole.
Another colorway of the Under Armour Curry 3, dubbed ‘Aqua Camo’, is on its way and it’s inspired by Steph’s ability to “adapt, react and control the flow of each game.“The camo-printed anaFoam panel that was used on the ‘SC30 Camo’ colorway returns, in blue, for a nice look. With its white and blue color scheme, Steph could easily wear this during home games as it matches perfectly with the Golden State’s gold and blue color scheme.A translucent outsole is also featured in this colorway and this marks the first time the Curry 3 has used a translucent rubber setup, as all of the released colorways have used a solid rubber compound.The Under Armour Curry 3 ‘Aqua Camo’ is set for a December 3 release date on UA.com and UA Basketball accounts.

SUPPORT – Basically a sock with a sole, so support structures are not at the front of the design ideas here, although the fit helps. There is an internal heel counter under that KD logo that does a good job holding the heel in even though the lacing system stops low on the ankle. The base of the shoe is wide, especially for a KD shoe, so the stability side to side is on.The Phylon midsole is sculpted under the arch for a little stiffness there and the Zoom Max is cut away in that area to keep that sinking feeling away from that area. For someone with foot problems, and looking at the KD7 and 8, the support on the 9 is surprisingly light, although KD did say his shoes are designed for the now, not what may happen, or to prevent something later from injuring. OVERALL – Best. KD. EVER. Seriously. Besides a little less support than some need, there are no problems with this shoe. Traction — excellent. Cushioning — beyond excellent. Materials — the best Nike has to offer. See a pattern? Actually, this is the best Nike shoe in years.Hyperbole? Exaggeration? Maybe, but the KD9 just shows what the Swoosh can still do when it wants to — make killer performers with comfort that look okay off-court (in a few years this may be a killer casual retro). Thought the days of the Nike LeBron 13 were over? Nike just dropped this low-top version of the LeBron 13 featuring a wild graffiti-based upper with call-outs to LeBron James and his hometown of Akron, OH. The shoes have alternate white/black color-blocking and feature multi-colored soles and”Akron Ohio” overlays on the Max Air unit on the heel. The Nike Kobe 11 Elite is se t to release tomorrow in another brand new colorway, but this time it’s for the kids. Known for recycling their colorways with their sneakers, Nike gives the Kobe 11 Elite the always-popular “Oreo” treatment as the latest induction to the Kobe 11 series. The sneakers feature a grey Flyknit upper on top of a white midsole with a black speckled design throughout the sneakers. The Nike Kobe 11 Elite “Oreo” is available now at Nike and select local retailers.
