Both colorways (Brown and Black) are done in a woven leather uppers to mimic the look of a baseball glove. The numbers 45 (Black) and 35 (Brown) on the heels represent the numbers MJ wore during his short-lived baseball career while playing for the Birmingham Barons and Scottsdale Scorpions, respectively. The Air Jordan 13/14 Defining Moments Pack released this morning and to my surprise when I went to go check for the shoes on the Nike SNKRS app (and I’m sure many other retailers), there’s still pretty much a full size run. That’s pretty rare considering that this is a limited pack/collection that celebrates a big accomplishment in MJ’s career. Is it because of the silhouettes that are included in the pack? I mean we do know that people love the Jordan 13, but I don’t think the Jordan 14 is embraced as much. Or is it the $500 price tag? Jordan Brand will be releasing a special colorway of the Air Jordan 6 inspired by MJ’s days at North Carolina. The Air Jordan 6 UNC comes dressed in a Black nubuck upper. More of the same Black hue takes care of areas such as the heel pull tab, rubber tongue, lining, laces and part of the midsole. Giving it that UNC vibe are the University Blue accents on Jumpman on the tongue, lacelock, back pull tab stripe and part of the midsole. A translucent outsole completes the design. It may not be an OG colorway, but it definitely has the classic look.
